Her Story
After becoming a mother at 14 and leaving school after the eighth grade, Teresa refused to allow her circumstances to define her future. Those experiences continue to shape the way she sees people, leadership, influence, purpose, and possibility. Whether speaking to a room of leaders, engaging in media commentary, writing a book, advising an executive, or sitting across from a counseling client, she is drawn to what lies beneath the surface.
Teresa is known for uncovering what others miss, asking the hard questions, and exploring the conversations beneath the conversation. She believes people are capable of more than they realize. Perhaps that is why she is drawn to leadership, faith, culture, human behavior, and the decisions that shape our lives. She is energized by growth, courage, vision, influence, and people becoming more than they thought possible. Today, Teresa speaks, writes, counsels, advises, and engages audiences on topics related to leadership, influence, faith, culture, identity, purpose, and human behavior. Her mission remains the same: to challenge assumptions, encourage deeper thinking, and call people to recognize what is possible when they refuse to settle for less than they were created to become.
