Without Power

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. -Acts 1:8

Awaken, awaken, oh Church, awaken! The Lord is calling us to get out of the complacency of living without power. We must disrobe ourselves from the spirit of unbelief regarding the present power of the Holy Spirit. Did someone tell you God’s touchable power ceased? They were misguided. Did you convince yourself He no longer needs to exemplify His existence on the earth and to His creation? Keep reading! The Lord still shows Himself real and mighty as He did at our last accelerated, Beyond Freedom School of Ministry training, by making Himself known to a group of Christians who had been longing to be touched by His glory!

These men and women hungered and thirsted for the Lord and had been crying out to feel His touch, for Him to show Himself supernaturally and tangibly if He truly was moving in power today. Many came from an unbelieving believer’s background—meaning they believed in Jesus, just not His present power through the Holy Spirit here on earth. Three of these awesome attendees got baptized in the power of the Holy Spirit, got touched like never before, and some even got deliverance from demons of unforgiveness, unbelieving spirits, and other bondages.

A woman shared with me that the group could feel the very glory and manifest presence of the Lord the moment they walked in the door. This sweet group took in our teachings on topics such as love and Jesus, the foundation of all things, and the importance of tongues and their functions through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Other topics that were taught included healing, deliverance, and the five-fold ministry. One thing we know for certain is that no one can ever tell these precious people of God that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit do not reveal themselves in power even today as they did in the book of Acts and beyond. They will never turn back from what they learned biblically and proved experientially. Glory to God, He showed up in a way that no human being ever could. One woman even said the Lord woke her up the same night she left our event and the Holy Spirit continued to minister to her in power—as electricity going through her just like He did at the training.

Those who have never experienced the Lord for who He truly is are not qualified to disqualify how He operates. Ask the Lord to show you Himself for yourself, that you will not miss out on anything He has for you here on earth!
