Contact and Prayer Requests

Beginning in 2020

Beyond Freedom, the church and movement by Teresa Lusk Ministries is an apostolic-prophetic minded gathering for believers who understand the current shift in the Spirit-Filled, Charismatic church as a whole. You will find that our goal is to fulfill the call as part of the five-fold ministry which is to, "equip His people (men and women equally) for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:12-13).

We believe that all Christians are ministers of the gospel even if they are not part of the five-fold ministry offices, and we were all called to bring the kingdom of Heaven here on earth. We do that by preaching the gospel, healing the sick, casting out demons, signs, miracles, wonders, and any other work the Holy Spirit desires. For Christians to fulfill their God-given call, they must be trained up and stop playing church by catering to the seeker-friendly agenda. We are looking forward to having you at our gathering and strongly encourage you to read through our Statement of Faith.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again for us to experience: physical and emotional healing, for the restoration of our relationship back to God the Father, and to destroy the works of the devil. He gave us victory over sin, darkness, the devil, and the grave. Our Lord defeated satan to restore to humanity what they gave up in the garden. Jesus is the only way to the Father and we receive His Holy Spirit when we give our lives to the Father, in Jesus, through the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God enables us to live a holy and power-filled life. There are no other gods but the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There is no other way to heaven but through Jesus. A true Christian will consistently produce godly living and transformation, and it will be evident in our thinking and all manner of living (1 Corinthians 8:5, 1 John 3:8).

Holy Spirit and Gifts of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is given to the believer at salvation. Once we receive the Holy Spirit at salvation, we have the responsibility to get baptized in the Holy Spirit which empowers the Christian to preach with boldness, operate in the power and gifts of the Spirit as listed in 1 Corinthians 12. The Holy Spirit can move in any of those graces, through anyone He desires, at any time, for any purpose. This can be more than one of the gifts listed at any time (1 Corinthians).

Supernatural God

The naturally supernatural character and essence (glory) of God are still being manifested today. We believe in the full gospel and know that tongues, miracles, signs, healings, deliverance, and wonders are still for today. We strive to invite His Holy Spirit to do what He wants to do, and to put our own agenda aside (Zechariah 4:6).

Healing, Sickness, Disease, Suffering, and Darkness

God is the Healer and does not give us sickness, or demons. We are under a new covenant. Although suffering, unfortunate circumstances, and evil do exist, the Lord makes all broken things work for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes (1 John 1:5, 1 Peter 2:21–25, 1 John 3:8, Mathew, Romans 8:28).

Holy Living and Grace

As Christians, we are to actively live out the desires of the Spirit and put to death all sinful passions. Some examples of these are as follows: Words we say including cursing, gossip, bitterness, and lying. Sexual activity is reserved for the marriage between one man and one woman. We are created in the image of God and He did not make a mistake when he created us either male or female and we should live out our identity. The ten commandments are still a guideline for life and summed up in one commandment, we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. We adhere to the entire Bible regarding sin  (1 Peter 1:14-16, Romans 1, Romans 6:12-14).

    Reading the Bible

We must read the Bible often to know what the Lord wants for our lives and to be spiritually healthy. God speaks through His Word and it is life to the Christian. A true believer takes of the Word of God (Mathew 4).

Women in Ministry

All of God’s children are called to minister the gospel and make disciples. This includes women and men as they are equally commissioned and empowered to build the church of Jesus Christ. This includes the call to the office of an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Lead Pastor, and/or teacher, and to speak and preach, in any setting,  to both males and females (Ephesians 4:11-16, Acts 18:26, Judges 4:4-5, Romans 16:1-2, Philippians 4:3, Romans 16:7).

Blessings on Earth

We believe we are blessed in every area of our life as children of God Most-High and we do not apologize for the blessing of the Lord. This includes financial prosperity (Deuteronomy 8:18, 1 Timothy 5:18).

Generational Curses and Devils

Through the new covenant of Jesus Christ, the Christian is not subject to generational curses. Jesus became the curse for us and we do not have to search and pay for our ancestor’s sins. It is good to confess what holds us down, but God is not requiring us to find what is impossible to locate regarding our ancestors. Although there can be stubborn generational devils that must be cast out, they do not have a right to be in the believers’ life. The devil is a defeated foe and a thief. What satan does to the children of God is based on his character (thief) first, not a right or open door. If a Christian lives a lifestyle of sin of any kind, they will see demons operating in their life, but we call every believer to set themselves apart in holiness (Ezekiel 18, Galatians 3 1 Peter 1:16).

Demonization in Christians

It is possible for a Christian to need deliverance and freedom from demonization (not possession) and/or demonic oppression in the flesh (the body) and outside of the body. The body is not redeemed; therefore, sickness, sin, and disease can reside within the body (Romans 7 and 8).

False practices and Witchcraft

Witchcraft is often seen as casting spells, however, horoscopes, Yoga, New Age, tarot cards, worship of other gods, symbols, other religions, and practices listed in Deuteronomy 18:9-14 are also a picture of what is considered witchcraft. We must be very discerning and biblically-minded regarding these things. There are many present-day practices that look harmless and some Christians are not identifying them for what they are. We must be very discerning and see things by the Spirit and not what culture says (Deuteronomy 18:9-14, 2 Corinthians11:14).

We realize that many of us have heard abusive and manipulating messages on giving. At Beyond Freedom, we believe in giving because we love the Lord and understand His giving nature. We simply believe in applying the principles the Lord taught us regarding sowing and reaping. While we do not preach a message of condemnation and cursing regarding tithing and giving, we simply invite you to give with a joyful heart (2 Corinthians 9:7).
